Home made sun dried tomato part 2

After 2 days under the sun, they r pretty much ready but will put it under the sun one more day.


A little tip due to the humidity in Malaysia, I would suggest not to cut the tomato slices too thick about 0.5 to 0.8cm will be ideal, or else it will cover with mold when the tray is resting in the house at night on the 1st 2 days.



I just love the colour can't wait to add into pasta.

Experimenting on homemade sun dried tomato

Since a jar of sun dried tomato is selling so expensive at supermarket, I had decided to make my own!

Googled in the internet on ways to make them, and finally decide to use the cheapest way - the sun.

Bought about 15 red tomato, sliced, deseed add olive oil, salt and blAck pepper. Mix well and lay tomato slice on tray, and place under the sun then WAIT!


This is how my tomatoes look like on day 1, let see how it turns out the next day.

Aglio Olio

one of my favorite pasta to cook during weekend, dig what ever vegie you can find in the fridge, some salt, black pepper, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and very important lemon juice!


vegies to grill, add in : olive oil salt and balsamic vinegar.
mix well.


same texture vegies grill together.


grill till it turn a little brown


different type of mushrooms, add salt and pepper when its almost cooked.


grill potato with balsamic vinegar is very nice!


chop garlic, dried chili, and burger fillet - optional, add olive oil into pan then place all grilled ingredient into the pan. add spaghetti in the end mix well lastly add salt and black pepper to taste and lemon juice.
